CURRENCY EXCHANGE

All your purchases will be made in the local currency.  Therefore tourist are recommended to exchange money at the applicable exchange rate for the given day, at currency exchange offices, so as to have cash on hand when you take cash out at ATMs. the exchange rate is applied immediately.

The exchange rate applied at hotels and banks is more conservative.  Restaurants, hotels and convention centers will accept credit cards.
